Six the Musical, a modern take on the wives of Henry VIII has extended its run of socially distanced shows at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End by eleven weeks.

The show is scheduled to begin playing from 5th December, making it one of the first musicals to resume performances in the West End since the theatres closed for the first national Lockdown in March. London will be classed as a Tier 2 region from 2nd December with this being reassessed every two weeks. Even if the city is moved into Tier 3, the show’s organisers promise that there will be chance to catch Six before it moves to the Arts Theatre for future performances.

Six the Musical is based on the six wives of Henry VIII and is written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. Janeia Richard-Noel, Coutney Bowman, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Sophie Isaacs, Danielle Steers, Zara Macintosh, Cherelle Jay, Hana Stewart and Collette Guitart will all be returning to the run.
