One thing we've found is that whenever you say you are travelling to a new place, you are told immediately about some kind of food that is famous in that area. Say you're going to Chicago and you'll find yourself being told to grab a pizza, tell someone you're off to Scotland and you'll be pressured into finding somewhere selling Haggis.
