About

Experience the thrill of Mount Cook Adventure Centre's new Rooftop Rider Zip Wire, and raise vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust UK!

The 108 metre long Zip Wire is the first of it's kind in Derbyshire, starting 15 metres above ground on the Centre's roof and finishing in Steeplehouse Quarry. Participants can expect to reach speeds of up to 40 mph!

The price is just £10 per adult & £5 per under 18, with proceeds from the event donated to Mount Cook's charity of choice for 2019: Teenage Cancer Trust UK. Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word 'cancer.' Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK dedicated to making that happen.

Make a positive difference and enjoy a thrilling experience on our Zip Wire! Prebooking is essential, so please visit: www.mountcook.org/events to reserve your place. Minimum weight: 20 kg / Maximum weight: 118 kg.

Between 11 - 12, we will be inviting all guests to take part in a very special Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt (donations for this will be welcome on the day!). Hot cross buns, tea & coffee will also be available to purchase. We hope to see you there!
