~ Please note: This workshop is in celebration of International Women's Day and is open to self-defining Women of Colour, gender non-conforming, non-binary & yoni-owning People of Colour only ~
About the Workshop
Yoni is a Sanskrit word which means "the womb" . From childbirth to sexual violence, the Yoni is often a site of pleasure, joy and also, trauma. Yoni healing, is therefore believed to be beneficial for trauma recovery. The workshop will be held in the Peak District in a beautiful location along the Derwent River, in Hathersage. In this Yoga and Yoni workshop, Glow will guide us to connect with our femininity and set us on a path to healing.
About the Walk
After meeting in the car park outside Hathersage Open Air Swimming Pool, we will embark on a circular walk along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way. Glow Moon Temple will host the Yoga & Yoni Healing workshop which will take place in a meadow, along the banks of the River Derwent. After the workshop we will have a half an hour lunch break before returning to the walk, following the river through Goose Net Wood. We will cross the river at the stepping stones, then head back to the village by crossing the train tracks.
