People's History Museum, Left Bank, Spinningfields, Manchester, M3 3ER
This small exhibition within the museum's main galleries, explores the wider impact of negative media coverage and changing immigration controls on migration, as well as highlighting campaigns to end the 'hostile environment' and its policies. Including photographs, newspaper covers, campaign material and video, the exhibition also presents the moving personal experiences of migration told by the people affected, in their own words. Suitable for all ages.
The museum is free to visit with a suggested donation of £5
