We Shine Portsmouth is back for 2024 - following a year off in 2023.
Dates and details will be announced shortly.
Building on the success of previous years, We Shine will again bring interactive installations and artworks to new areas, whilst retaining the original sites to engage with communities in areas further north within the city. The festival will run from 5pm to 9pm over the three evenings, with the We Create Market back for the whole weekend to support local traders.
The festival will provide opportunities for local community groups and young people to participate in creative activities via numerous and varied free workshops held by creatives, enabling them to contribute to the festival. A range of local artists have been commissioned to create bespoke installations to develop their skills and to provide an opportunity to showcase their work to a large audience within the public realm.
