David Swinton is a professional artist living in Whittlesey. Davids work has been exhibited throughout the country, including at the Laing, Bankside, and the Natural History Museum. David teaches three local art classes for adults in watercolour and other media. For this class we will be working on heavy-duty, NOT surface paper to learn a number of exciting watercolour techniques, such as wet-in-wet, graded wash, sponged foliage, wax resist and rigger trees. Watercolour is a beautiful medium and learning basic skills helps beginners to progress with this challenging art.
You will be provided with all the materials and equipment you need for the course but if you have your own brushes and paints please bring them with you on the day.
This workshop is for 18yrs and over. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
