Matt has worked with a diverse range of artists including Youth (Killing Joke, The Orb), Arno Carstens, Fake?, Poly Styrene and more recently accompanied Ozark Henry on his European tour.
His innovative style is supported by a career that has spanned genres from jazz to punk, folk to electronica.
Based in London, Matt's current projects include jazz group The Matt Chandler Trio with Ross Stanley on Hammond Organ and Eric Ford on drums, and electro-funk band Pest who regularly play live shows around London and have releases on Ninja Tune records.
In 2009 Matt independently released his debut album "After Midnight" and followed this up in 2011 with his second, "It Goes Like This".

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (A61 signposted Derby). Keep in left lane and at traffic lights (McDonalds), go straight on. At next traffic lights select right hand lane turn right (St Augustine’s Road). Follow road to roundabout and take 2nd exit (Whitecotes Lane). Follow road to traffic lights, select left lane and go straight on (Matlock Road, A632). Follow road for approx ½ mile and turn right into Acorn’s Ridge. Take 1st road on left (Walton Back Lane) and Church is on left.
From East Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.
From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. Turn right opposite Brookfield School into Somersall Lane. Follow road (beware single lane bridge) for approx 0.7 miles and turn left into Walton Back Lane. Follow road for ½ mile, passing Walton Village Hall on right, and Church is on right just after left hand bend.
