NATIONAL WHALE & DOLPHIN WATCH 2020
We need volunteers to take part in the National Whale & Dolphin Watch Week. Can you give up just two hours of your time? As part of the watch you will be recording survey data that will help us get a picture of how these creatures are doing around our coastline! If you can give your time, we can teach you everything that you need to know to be able to confidently collect data for this nationally important project. There will be a training session, run prior to the week itself, on the end of the headland (weather permitting). Contact the Berry Head reserve office to attend or for further information ( 01803 882619).
The two hour session times are as follows:
Sat 25th July & Sunday 26th July – 6.00am, 8.00am, 10.00am, 12 noon, 2.00pm, 4.00pm
Mon 27th, Wednesday 29th & Friday 31st July – 6.00am, 8.00am, 2.00pm, 4.00pm
During the weekend of the 25th & 26th July, if you are unable to do a 2 hour slot, there will be the opportunity to come and spend some time with the Rangers on the end of the headland. Please come along and find out more about these amazing creatures.
