About

Internationally acclaimed orchestra the Skaparis will make their live return in April 2021 for a spectacular night in the beautiful setting of The Lighthouse Church, Salford, Manchester. Led by conductor and founder Simon Robertshaw, the Mancunian ensemble invite an online audience to join them at their debut livestreamed performance, and first live showcase since their 2018 tour alongside Gary Numan.

The vision of the 26-strong orchestra is to convey a powerful uplifting message of rebirth, regeneration and hope in the face of adversity. The programme includes 3 iconic pieces: Les Élémens by Jean Féry Rebel, Robertshaw's orchestrated Violin sonata in G Major by Mozart (featuring his original composition of the 3rd 'missing' movement), and Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.

Rescheduled from April 2020, the Skaparis are doing everything possible to ensure their music can reach the masses, regardless of COVID. The professionally produced pay-per-view stream will be hosted globally at www.skaparis.uk, with multiple ticket tiers available at affordable prices. It will include multiple angles of the performance with high quality audio, as well as featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interviews!
