The Princess and the Pea

About

Incorporating music, puppets and audience interaction, Join Theatre of Widdershins this Easter as they skilfully bring the magical story of The Princess and the Pea to life.

King Lentil Bentil and Queen Tomatina are worried that their son, Prince Pilchard, spends too much time on his computer and will never meet a Princess to marry. When Pilchards falls for the mysterious Olivia, the King and Queen's fears are increased. Is she or is she not a real princess? There is, of course, only one way to find out...

This tale, made famous by Hans Christian Anderson, has been adapted into an engaging and playful storytelling based play, where tales are told with simple puppets and children are encouraged to add their voice and energy to the unfolding story. An enchanting tale to delight and entertain all ages.
