The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain Youth Band had an amazing 2022, celebrating their jubilee year with concerts at Huddersfield Town Hall, the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as opening the prestigious Gramophone Magazine Classical Music Awards, and they will be opening their 2023 concert season with an Easter concert here at Stoller Hall.
The evening will be led by Guest Conductor Stephen Cobb, with performances from Guest Soloist, BBC Symphony Orchestra Principal Trumpet Phillip Hobb, and a brand-new commission written especially for the band from composer Dorothy Gates.
