The Lewes Ripple YouTube channel has launched!

The Lewes Ripple is a registered not-for-profit Community Interest Company, which has
been creating unique platforms for local music makers since 2018. We have mounted a
number of themed concerts at venues such as the Con Club, the Royal Oak and the Lamb of
Lewes as well as pop-up shows at Union Music store, The Westgate Chapel and Depot
Cinema. All profits from our ticketed events have been distributed to local charities and
causes including The Railway Land Trust, Rocket Radio and Lewes Open Door.

In May 2020 we were all set to unleash a large scale town-wide music event but
unfortunately that got washed away by the corona wave. Team Ripple have since been
monitoring the situation and taking note of Government advice. It seems clear that a return
to live music performances in packed venues is still some way off, so we have decided to
create a digital platform for filmed performances, interviews and music tracks with
attractive visual content.

During June and July we shot a number of (socially distanced) live performances at Starfish
Studios with artists such as SEPIA SHADOWS, DIRK AND ADAM CAMPBELL, STEVE 'SNIPS'
PARSONS and T.J. WALKER. These in-house films will kick off the channel and we are now
inviting externally produced content. Submission details are contained on our website.
