About

The popular Great Fire of Dronfield returns this November with two firework displays. The first display at 7pm is shorter and aimed at small children and those of a nervous disposition. The second display at 8pm is longer, more spectacular and will contain loud noises.

The bonfire is lit at 6pm with a variety of stalls food and drink stall including BBQ, hog roast, curry, fresh pizza oven, jacket potatoes, coffee and cakes as well as an outside bar, children's rides, bouncy castle and slide.

The bonfire and fireworks will take place whatever the weather so you can buy your tickets in advance with confidence and be sure that you will get full value for money.

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select right lane and take 4th exit (A61 signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61). At next roundabout (James Cycles) select middle lane and take 3rd exit (A61). Follow A61 to next roundabout (approx 4 miles) select right hand lane and take 3rd exit (B6057 signposted Dronfield). At bottom of hill (approx 1 mile) turn right (B6056 Wreakes Lane). Go under bypass and follow Stubley Lane into Carr Lane.

From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights go straight on. Stay in left lane but, at roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A632). Turn immediately left into slip road to A61 (signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61), then follow route from North/South.
