Since their formation in 2006, London-based Teeth Of The Sea have metamorphosized into the most adventurous psychedelic rock outfit in the UK. Taking on board influences like Morricone, Eno, Delia Derbyshire, Goblin, and the Butthole Surfers, they’ve arrived at an incendiary sound that marries the aural enlightenment of an avant-garde sensibility with the reckless abandon of the racket.
The Utopia Strong are a semi-modular trio, delivering medical grade music to the visionary music head. Compromising of experimental/psychedelic musician (& current front man in Gong!) Kavus Torabi along with the most successful professional Snooker player of the 1980s and now modular synth wizard & eclectic DJ, Steve Davis + multi instrumentalist and luthier Michael York. They have fused Modular Synthesisers with conventional and traditional instruments to create a weird and joyous celebration of all that is good about left eld psychedelic music.
This is the first night of a tour for both bands and one that we're turbo excited to bring to Manchester!
