History in every pint!
We're keeping the tradition of the English pub alive with every pint we pour. The moment you walk through our door, you'll think that you've just been transported back to a better, simpler time. But our assortment of the finest contemporary local brews, our renowned cider selection, Fine Wines, 20 Gins & Premium Spirit range mean we have something for everyone! Our modern take on traditional English cuisine & specials (all homemade including our fabulous Ice Creams) tells a different story. You've actually stumbled upon the best of both old and new, all under one roof.
We offer an excellent range of locally produced ales from Essex & Hertfordshire Brewery's. With 6 pumps on all the time there is always something new and interesting to try!
If you like ciders we are the place to come! Voted top Cidre Pub regionally and in top four nationally (hoping to get top spot this time around) we have over 40 ciders to try including CAMRA Medal-winning London Glider Cider, a company we have recently acquired, that makes cider from the apples of local residents gardens!

The Woodbine is on Honey Lane (A121), just off junction 26 on the M25 in the direction of Loughton and Epping. West bound, leave the M25 and take the first exit off the roundabout. The Woodbine is a short distance on the left. East bound, leave the M25 at junction 26 and go around the roundabout and under the motorway to the second roundabout and take the first exit as above.
From Epping, travel south into the forest along the Epping Road to the Wake Arms roundabout and take the fourth exit (signposted M25) Woodridden Hill. The Woodbine is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
The nearest stations are Loughton on the Central Line or Chingford on the overground and then its a taxi ride away.
The Woodbine is in Epping Forest and an ideal stop for walkers (and dog friendly).
