Summer Nights Film Festival - Bohemian Rhapsody (12A)

About

With spectacular views over Derbyshire, the fairy-tale Stuart mansion, Bolsover Castle, was designed to entertain and impress. For the first time, Summer Nights comes to Bolsover Castle for spectacular outdoor cinema evenings right next to the castle walls.

This foot-stomping biopic is a romp through the years leading up to Queen’s career rejuvenating performance at 1985’s Live Aid.

Following the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant Live Aid reunion. There Mercury, facing the battle for his life with his HIV diagnosis, leads the band to a performance that cements their legacy. Rami Malek (Mr Robot) dons the moustache as Freddie Mercury with Joseph Mazello as John Deacon, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor and Gwilym Lee as Brian May. Ably supported by Mike Myers, Aidan Gillen and Tom Hollander.
