An early evening walk for all the family.
This walk is a chance to see a variety of trees located in a small area, some up to 160 years old. You will find common trees to the UK, such as Ash, Elm and Beech. There is also an avenue of Limes, a species often found in cemeteries, and you will find out why.
Supplied with a fact sheet you will be taking a gentle stroll to identify all of the many varieties, broadening your tree knowledge for another day. Children will be able to have a go at bark and leaf rubbing and refreshments will be available.
Walk grading - easy access (suitable for people with conventional wheelchairs and pushchairs. Assistance may be needed to push wheelchairs on some sections).
