House of India Starr, producer of Leicester's most decadent Burlesque and Cabaret night 'The Peacock Lounge' presents 'Soirée' an indulgent evening of food, cabaret and dancing to welcome in the New Year at one of Leicester's finest Ballrooms.

Put on your finest attire and make your way to the beautiful Grand Hotel. Walk down the red carpet and be welcomed with a glass of fizz as you make your way up the grand sweeping staircases to the glass domed lounge where you can hear the vintage stylings of our lounge singer whilst you absorb the atmosphere. Then move into the Kings Hall and take your seats amongst the grandeur of the marbled Victorian ballroom and get ready to be served some of the finest burlesque, cabaret and circus acts interlaced between a delicious three course meal. After the final mouthfuls and delectable acts have satisfied you make your way to the dance floor where our live music will help you bring in the new year in style!

Venue

The Kings Hall at The Grand Hotel

Make your way up the sweeping staircases past elegant statues, under the glass dome of the bar and lobby to the grandeur of the Kings Hall; a ballroom full of marble fireplaces, onyx pillars and elegant chandeliers which have historically played host to society balls, celebrities and high profile figures in society and politics including Winston Churchill in 1909. This room will host our Gala Dinner.

Accomodation

The Grand hotel's overnight accomodation will be unavailable due to renovation, however there is a reduced rate provided to our guests for The Gresham Aparthotel a few minutes walk away. This is on a first come first served basis and you may wish to compare with other accomodation and booking sources. Details of how to book will be sent on purchase of your tickets.The rates are as follows:

£120 room only

£132 single occupancy bed & breakfast

£144 double occupancy bed & breakfast

Standard £85 pp

VIP £90 pp

All tickets include a glass of bubbly on arrival (or an alcohol free alternative), a 3 course dinner and access to all entertainment including lounge singer, cabaret artists and live music. Additional drinks must be purchased from the bar.

VIP Ticket Upgrade includes all of the above and a seat at a table next to the stage and dance floor only.

Ticket release - Please note that tickets will be released in batches with some being held back to allow for large group bookings to be seated together. This allows large parties aswell as couples and individuals to attend. This system is managed manually and athough India will endevour to ensure that there are always a range of group sizes available to book sometimes you may look to book before an appropriate batch has been released. If this occurs please email India (on houseofindiastarr@gmail.com) in the first instance with your group size so that any available tickets can be released to your party.
