Relax and enjoy a diverse programme of lovely songs, mostly about flowers, brought to you by Severn Voices, a local choir, whose main claim to fame is a performance on Petroc Trelawney's Radio 3 morning programme as part of his Severn Week, singing at the Severn Ham, Tewkesbury in May 2019.
The programme features composers dating from Tudor times (William Byrd, John Wilbye) to the present (Eric Whitacre, Paul Mealor) and also includes pieces by two local composers, Alec Roth and Liz Johnson, not to mention a truly exciting treatment of the folk song Ballad of Green Broom by Benjamin Britten.
