Celebrate the brilliant birds – and their glorious eggs - in Roald Dahl's books this Easter. Hunt for the birds around the Museum, build a giant junk modelling nest, listen to storytelling from The Twits and The Enormous Crocodile make a Roly-Poly bird pot out of clay or make your own brilliant bird tail feathers.
Pick up a trail to explore the Museum and find out about the birds and animals that feature in Roald Dahl's books. Drop-in to the pop-up bird hide to find out about the local birds that inspired the stories and add a budgie to Roald Dahl's aviary in the Craft Room.
Step out of the Museum and explore the local countryside and village with a Museum guide and discover how some of the local birds and wildlife found their way into the stories. You can also go behind the scenes and find out even more about the Roly-Poly bird and his friends with the Museum Archivist, Rachel.
