Get your hats, scarves and gloves ready and join us as we celebrate everything that is big, bright and loud, as we light up our skies and waterfront during a dazzling firework show on both sides of the River Mersey. The event will also offer lots of activities and pre-firework entertainment for all to enjoy including ghostly pirates on the Black Pearl.
Titanium Fireworks, the team behind some of the UK’s biggest displays, are back with another breath-taking visual and musical spectacle for this year’s event. Fireworks will be set off from the water’s edge in New Brighton, accompanied by a soundtrack which has been specially-designed for the display, played along the waterfront.
Entertainment starts at 5pm with the fireworks due to start at 6.30pm. Please note timings are approximate.
River of Light is part of a whole weekend of free fireworks displays across Wirral
