Poetry Forum

About

Poetry Forum - meets in the Library the third Friday in the month at 1.30 until 3 - 3.30. All welcome and it's free! Usually, for the first part of the session, writers are welcome to bring a poem they have written, perhaps not too long, with copies please, say 6, to hand out (there is a photocopying facility in the Library). After due consideration the poem will be discussed, any questions answered and if necessary suggestions made in a friendly and helpful atmosphere. Depending on the choice of the volunteer 'leader' for the afternoon the format of the sessions may vary and could include writing exercises to inspire poems ( pen and paper please) possibly a question/answer session or just a general discussion around poetry.Whichever, you will find it interesting and enjoyable. Give it a try !
July 18th; Aug 15th; Sept.19th TBC; Oct 17th;Nov 21st; Dec 19th 2014
