Experience a magical evening atmosphere of art and culture at the National Trust's Petworth House during this Late opening.
Explore the rooms with their vast art collection, including works by J.M.W Turner and Thomas Gainsborough, along with carvings by Grinling Gibbons.
Discover the 'Explorations in Paint' exhibition, specially curated by the Royal Academy of Arts, featuring artworks not previously lent by the Royal Academy and new work never exhibited before by Rebecca Salter PRA. Enjoy a drink on arrival, live music, highlight talks and watch the sunset over Petworth Park. Pay-for bar also available.
The highlight talks on this evening will be themed on Joshua Reynolds, the leading English portrait artist of the 18th century. 2023 marks 300 years since his birth and many of his works can be seen in our collection.
