Peak District Autumn Foraging Courses

About

The Peak District is the fifth largest national park in England and Wales. This diverse area is incredibly rich in a wide variety of edible wild plants and mushrooms throughout the year.
We will meet at the Miners Arms where the course starts with a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes.
Then we'll set off on a roughly 2.5 hour walk teaching you how to identify the different edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms we find.
We will stop along the way for some homemade refreshments such as our lovely wild mushroom soup.
Then it's back to the pub for a wild food lunch based on what we have found.
After the course we will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt.
