Join us as we formally open the doors to the National Trust Heritage and Rural Skills Centre for the first time, with something for everyone to explore and enjoy.
This free launch day brings together new workshops, studios, and the craftspeople who practice a range of heritage and rural skills here. You can explore open studios and get a taster of the courses we offer, join a tour of the centre and historic farm, visit a new permanent Heritage and Rural Skills exhibition and a pop-up Celebration of Skills exhibition (part of Oxfordshire Art Weeks), and there are activities for children, too. Find refreshments in Carpenters' Canteen and browse the Wheelwright's second hand book shop.
