About

Old City Sounds will once again take over King Street, Corn Street, St Nicholas Street, Welsh Back and St Nicks Market in a free musical celebration for all ages.

This family-friendly music event will celebrate the city’s songful soul on the Saturday of the late August bank holiday weekend.

From toe-tapping jazz and traditional Irish folk to immersive DJs and heart-pounding alt-rock, experience the best of Bristol’s music scene. Get ready for back-to-back music and entertainment from midday until late.

King Street will set the tone, with The Old Duke hosting its famous Jazz Festival across the whole bank holiday weekend.

The Kids Zone at St Stephen’s Church will be a hub of activity, featuring crafts and face painting and a variety of workshops and performances, including circus skills, dance and more.

Old City Sounds is created and supported by Bristol City Centre BID.

Full lineup to be announced shortly.
