A deceptive country-style garden in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. A real gem. The garden is on two levels of approximately half an acre, with packed herbaceous borders designed for colour and shrubs, baskets and tubs.
There are lots of roses, greenhouses, a raised-bed vegetable area, fruit trees and two ponds.
Free range chicken area.
Plenty of seating to relax and take in the wonderful planting from two passionate gardeners.
Accessibility – the small top garden is accessible for wheelchairs, the lower garden can be accessed via a slope instead of the 7 steps.
Pre-book in advance or pay on the day.
Refreshments – homemade teas.
