Over the August bank holiday weekend, a collaboration between Newark Town Council, The Liz Hobbs Group and The Hustle Collective will see a vibrant and diverse spread of music, art, food, and family entertainment filling the streets and venues of Newark.

The festival kicks off on Friday 25th August - Saturday 26th August with free family fun days - The main stage in the Market Place will feature the best young performers from across the county. Circus skills, street performers and interactive workshops will also be included in the programme ensuring a fun day out for all the family.

Newark Hustle will follow on Saturday 26th August - Situated in venues throughout the town including the Market Place stage, The Navigation, The Prince Rupert, and Ann et Vin with street art, food and entertainment galore .

The highly anticipated Newark Festival is proud to announce, Concert in the Castle, featuring a phenomenal line-up of 80’s music icons. On Sunday, August 27th, music enthusiasts are invited to an enchanting evening within the historic walls of The Castle Gardens, as legendary artists Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz, Toyah, and Carol Decker of T'Pau grace the stage for an unforgettable night of performances..

Monday see’s the spectacular finale to the Concert in the Castle & Newark Festival for 2023. The Annual Brass Explosion is an afternoon of family entertainment from midday, with food and drinks, come along and relax in the fabulous Castle Gardens. The day will include a series of Brass band performances culminating in a stunning display of fireworks to bring the curtain down on Newark Festival 2023!

The full programme will be released at the start of August via the festival website.
