The Eden Project have announced that My Chemical Romance are to play two consecutive nights in front of the famous Biomes next year.
The hugely popular USA-based band are already scheduled to play a sold-out show on May 17, 2002. Now it is announced that they will also appear the previous evening, May 16.
Rita Broe, Managing Director of Eden Sessions Ltd, said today: “Since we announced My Chemical Romance would be coming to Eden the response from fans has been incredible.
“We’re delighted to now be able to say they will play an additional show on May the 16th. We’re sure their huge army of fans will be as thrilled as we are at this amazing coup.”
Formed in Newark, New Jersey, US rock band My Chemical Romance made their debut in 2002. Rolling Stone magazine hailed the three-times-platinum The Black Parade as one of the top albums of 2006. Lead single Welcome to the Black Parade topped both Billboard’s Alternative Songs tally and the UK Official Singles chart. After several great albums the band split in 2013, with a Greatest Hits album released in March 2014.
The band reunited and played a reunion show on October 31, 2019 in Los Angeles. They were due to play the Eden Sessions in 2020 but will now appear in May 2022
