This Christmas, Haddon Hall will be celebrating the start of the festive season with Mercatum- a Winter Artisan Market filled with a magnificent line-up of the best artisans and makers across the UK.

Running from 13th – 17th November, visitors will be able to shop the best gifts and decorations for Christmas, from soaps, skincare products and candles, to jewellery, fine art and food and drink.

New for 2019, Novel Tea will be selling the highest quality tea leaves and spirits from across the globe while local Derbyshire company, Grain Artisan, will be offering fabulous hand-crafted artisan gins. For those with a sweet tooth, Lydia's Perfectly Cake are on hand to provide a beautiful array of cakes and treats, while Toastie the Difference will be serving up festive toasties.

Brand new coffee vendor, Kaffe & Kake, will be keeping guests warm with their great barista coffee and freshly home baked cinnamon buns and don't miss Giddy Kippers Plants in the courtyard with seasonal plant arrangements and Christmas wreaths. Amber Valley Wines will be showcasing its finest wines created from local vineyards in the Peak District, and China Petals will also be selling a variety of stunning gifts, home décor and personal keepsakes, created using only recycled china from old cups, saucers and plates.

Mercatum will be open from 10am until 5pm, with entry priced at £5.50 for adults and free for children. Visitors can also enjoy an exclusive VIP evening this year on 12th November, where guests can enjoy a more relaxed shopping experience with a welcome drink, canapés and live music in the lower courtyard. Tickets for the VIP evening can be purchased online and are priced at just £25.00 including additional entry on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November.
