Live at the Bandstand is back for 2024 - bringing you a sizzling summer of free live music, across an array of styles. This year continues with the theme of Bandstand on Tour, with performances taking place across Castle Field, Victoria Park, Southsea Common and King George V Playing Fields, as the traditional bandstand remains out of use due to the ongoing sea defence works.

All details of the Live at the Bandstand programme and times may be subject to change without notice. All events are presented subject to reasonable weather conditions. If the weather is poor please check the Facebook page from 11am to confirm if the event is going ahead. This year's primary wet weather venue will be The Wedgewood Rooms on Albert Road and also Staggeringly Good Brewery near on Rodney Road.
Live at the Bandstand is funded and delivered by Portsmouth City Council and supported by The Wedgewood Rooms, Beats & Swing, The People's Lounge, book.events, Casemates Studios, neu waves, Unmade Radio, Salsa Solent Dance Academy, Southsea Sound, Piece of Cake Productions, Big Hug Management, Icebreaker Festival and Reel Sound Music.
Live at the Bandstand is a free event.
Follow signs to Southsea seafront.
Travel by train or coach to Portsmouth Harbour, there are regular bus services to the seafront.
