Exeter's Historic Guildhall will host a range of themed tours, children's activities and an exhibition alongside a selection of
online activities, articles and posts via the social media page.
Exeter’s Historic Guildhall is inviting the public to feast their eyes on a mouth-watering exhibition of historic tableware, crockery
and cutlery, from the simplest mother of pearl handled knife to the most ornate of candelabras.
The Guildhall will take you on a culinary journey through the ages from the simplest dishes of medieval times, to war time
recipes and helping our heroes, to lavish banquets including menu cards and other tasty morsels from our archives and modern
day Mayoralty afternoon tea with etiquette dos and don’ts and helpful tips to recreate in your own at home.
If that has whet your appetite, why not take a private tour where our Mace Sergeants will share tasty titbits from the Guildhalls
900 hundred year history. There will also be a treasure hunt for children to find the hidden fruit around the Guildhall and a
drawing competition they can take home or download online.
