Sketching is often something that as adults we think we either can or cannot do. This is your chance to change how you feel about being an ‘artist’. Len Grant is famous for both his skills as a photographer and his ability to tell stories through sketches. He will start the day with a relaxed introduction to sketching at the National Trust's Manchester offices on Oxford Road. Then it is off out to find the quieter corners of Manchester city centre. Notebooks, pens and stools to sit on will be provided as Len provides support and encouragement as you gain in confidence. The day closes with a chance to show off your newfound skills in a ‘throwdown’ on the National Trust's Castlefield Viaduct.
