THIS EVENT IS PART OF THE ENGLISH RIVIERA WALKING FESTIVAL

“More people believe in ghosts in Torquay than anywhere else in England”.

This light-hearted walk takes us through the many legends and ghosts associated with the town. There are stories of Pixies, the Devil, England’s most haunted house, sea serpents, spectral Spanish ladies, musical spirits, and many more.

Beginning at Torre Abbey, the oldest building in Torquay, we will tell tales of its many ghosts, secret tunnels, murder and kidnap

Hear how a ghostly spirit resides at the Spanish Barn

We will climb to the Rock Walk viewing platform and listen to stories of lost lands, sea serpents and pixies

As night falls, we will end our walk at Torquay harbour, with the history of the musical Ghosts of St John’s Church, England’s most haunted house and other apparitions

For those of you wanting to share your own ghost stories, or question whether ghosts exist, we will adjourn to a traditional English pub to debate!
