The Festival of Water offers a weekend of fun for boaters, campers and all who love spending time by the water.

A full programme of music and dance plus food, stalls and children's activities will entertain the crowds over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

On the Water

Attractions on the water will include;

Boat Handling Competition - On Saturday and Sunday

Illuminated Boat Procession - On Sunday evening

In the Park

Entertainment will include;

Learn to Drive a Digger free taster sessions run by IWA's Waterway Recovery Group

Childrens' fairground rides

Human Hamster Balls

Craft Stalls

Information Stalls

Delicious Food

Live music performances including a one man band and Morris dancers

Over 120 boats dressed in their festival bunting

Food

There will be a food court and seating area with a range of tempting dishes on offer including:

Pancrepes - Delicious sweet and savoury crepes, gluten free available on request    

Relish The Thought - Prime beef burgers, premium pork sausages, bacon, southern fried chicken, chips, specialist Coffee, Teas, Cakes, Pastries & Cold Drinks    

Little Red Coffee Van - Barister Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, cold drinks & cake    

Smokey Jones - Authentic American style smoked beef & pork

Live Music and Dance:

Noyze Boyz - The Noyze Boyz Band play jazz standards and blues and some New Orleans style spirituals.

Junkyard Dawg Jug Band - A four-piece playing an exciting and high energy repertoire of old time "jug band" type songs.

Pennyless Folk - "Lose yourself in the quirky, generous spirit of inventiveness that characterises Pennyless's music” says David Kidman of Folkandroots magazine

Braunston Pickle - Folk duo Braunston Pickle bring a traditional note to proceedings

AnnieMation Morris - The North West Clog Morris side you know and love.

Bonnet and Belt Theatre Company - Formed in 2017, this company specialises in  the retelling of the history and traditions from the canals of England in music, song and drama.
