Drawing inspiration from Debussy, Tom Jobim, Tigran Hamasyan and Bon Iver, the music of Fabled explores the wealth of textures, harmonies and grooves available in the traditional jazz quintet setting. Heavily influenced by music for film, and the relationship between music and storytelling, they are always searching for their own new ways to tell the classic, age-old stories.

Fabled formed in 2014 when saxophonist / clarinetist, Sam Rapley, brought together a select handful of Britain's most exciting young musicians to play his original music. This close-knit group of friends have since found a unified and unique way of interacting with each other, born through years of collaborative music making.

Following the success of their debut EP, released in 2015, over the past 2 years, Fabled have been performing across the UK and developing new music which has come together to form their first full length album, Short Stories, due for release September 2018.

Fabled perform at the Bridge Hotel as part of a 15 date UK tour in support of their debut album.
