Erddig Summer of Play

About

Join us at National Trust property Erddig from Saturday 22 July to Sunday 3 September for a Summer of Play for the whole family, sponsored by Starling Bank.

Explore the active stations - whether it's weaving wheelbarrows on the West Front, teaming up in relay, or racing around the Timber Yard on tricycles, there's something for all ages, every day, come rain or shine.

Preservation work on the doll house in the children's nursery at the house will be ongoing throughout the summer. Coinciding with this will be kids 'Small World Crafts' sessions every Tuesday with Doll House Origami on July 25, August 8, August 22, 11am-3pm and Wooden Peg Doll Making on August 1, 15 and 29, 11am-3pm.

Drop by every Friday for Fine Art sessions on the garden lawn, 11am-3pm. Artist hosted sessions take place on August 11, 18 and September 1, 11am-3pm.

Join in with Seed Sowing Sundays, 11am-3pm – create a recycled plant pot and sow Erddig's head gardener's favourite seed mix.

Award-winning storyteller Jake Evans returns on July 24, 31 and August 7, 11.30am-2.30pm.

Don't forget to pop into the natural play area Wolf's Den during your visit.
