Sample the sound and smell of steam at this weekend steam rally at Elvaston Castle & Country Park. This year's festival includes the following attractions:
Steam Traction Engines, Vintage and Classic Cars & Motorcycles, Vintage Commercials, Tractors, Stationary Barn Engines, Fair Organs, Miniature Steam Engines, Model Show, Vintage Caravans, Craft Displays and Stalls, Market Stalls, Autojumble, Children's Entertainment and working demonstrations of Log Sawing and Threshing.
In addition to the steam engine rally there will be the old-time Fun Fair (also running Saturday evening), miniature railway, dog & duck show, gun runners, Punch & Judy and a full programme of arena displays for all to enjoy.
Day tickets, weekend tickets, camping & caravanning options available. It would be great for you to come and visit and support local charities at the same time.
FREE bus service from Derby, Heanor and Ilkeston to the site.
