Birds of prey will be back flying high above Fort Nelson for four special free days of fun during the Easter holidays.
The free falconry events will take place on Tuesday 2, Thursday 4, Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 April, with displays taking place at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
A free Bunny Bingo trail will also run throughout the holidays, from Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April for our younger visitors. Children will be challenged to find trail boards with Easter eggs on them to get a full house on a bingo card – with the reward of a badge for those who complete it.
Please note, in the event of rain or windy weather the birds will not be flown outside, and the displays will move indoors – shows will be shorter, at different times, and with a reduced audience capacity.
As well as the fun activities, visitors can explore the huge Victorian fort, underground tunnels, see the national collection of artillery in the museum and enjoy a lovely café in which to take a break.
Visitors must book in advance at royalarmouries.org as the site has limited facilities, so has to put capacity limits in place during school holidays. Entry is not guaranteed for those who do not book their free online ticket in advance.
Free entry - advance booking strongly recommended.
