Dronfield Arts Festival brings intriguing and spectacular arts experiences to Derbyshire.
The festival will kick off on Friday evening with a night of music at the Barn from local bands, the Cellar Thieves, Mcshane and Shaw, Phil Doleman and Barnsdale Hood.
The festival then moves across to manor gardens, Civic Hall and the Barn with a variety of acts, food and entertainment throughout the day. Saturday night there will be the Greentop Circus performing a cabaret style show at the Civic Hall.
On the Sunday there will be a mix of acts, food and entertainment throughout the day.
A weekend packed full of activities, events and performances for all the family. Pop along for live music, street theatre, children’s crafts and entertainment, artisan markets, pop up bars and street food, evening shows, exhibitions, workshops and much much more!

From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select right lane and take 4th exit (A61 signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61). At next roundabout (Little Chef) select middle lane and take 3rd exit (A61). Follow road for approx 5 miles and, at roundabout select right lane and take 3rd exit (Sheffield Road). Follow road for approx. ½ mile and turn right into Wreakes Lane. Cross over the railway and turn left to continue on Wreakes Lane and follow road to Sainsbury’s. Park in Sainsbury’s overflow car park for the Barn.
From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South.
From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights go straight on. Stay in left lane but, at roundabout select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A632). Turn immediately left into slip road to A61 (signposted Sheffield). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Tesco) select middle lane and take 2nd exit (A61), then follow route from North/South.
Nearest train station Dronfield, 10 minutes walk away.
Bus number 43 and 44 from Chesterfield town centre, approximately 2 per hour.
