AM&G Daffodil Month

About

Enjoy a feel-good start to spring and experience the sensational beauty of 70,000 daffodils in bloom during March and April, with waves of different varieties opening in succession across our contemporary and historic gardens, and the grounds around the Museum.

The New American Garden, designed by US landscape architects Oehme, van Sweden, features 40,000 narcissus alone, in a spectacular display unique to Bath.

Take in the panoramic views over the Limpley Stoke valley and head into our wider parkland for a longer walk before having some treats in the American Garden Deli.

The daffodil collection includes: Narcissus 'Albus Plenus Odoratus', narcissus 'Avalanche', narcissus 'Early Louisiana', narcissus 'Elka', narcissus 'Geranium', narcissus 'Hawera', narcissus hispanicus 'Maximus', narcissus 'Jenny', narcissus 'Sempre Avanti', narcissus 'Moschatus', narcissus 'Mount Hood', narcissus 'Oxford Gold', narcissus poeticus 'Actaea', narcissus poeticus recurvus 'Pheasant's Eye', narcissus 'Queen Anne's Jonquil', narcissus 'Segovia', narcissus 'Thalia' and the wild form narcissus pseudonarcissus.

Please note, the American Museum & Gardens is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am–5pm. We are open on Mondays only for bank holidays and during BANES school holidays.
