The Waltham Abbey Cucumber, Food and Flower Festival

Saturday 28th September 2019

You may remember the Cucumber Festival or the Food Fayres that have taken place in Waltham Abbey over the years? Well its back for 2019!

This community event will showcase our local salad industry as well as the many attractions that we have to offer in Waltham Abbey and our wider District.

What to expect at the event:

 Specialists in Food & Drink selling local produce

 Cookery Demonstrations

 Your chance to meet a number of local growers

 Up to 100 stalls offering an array of products to sell, from food equipment to flowers

 Local schools and colleges sharing the fun!

 Local attractions and entertainment

Road Directions

Waltham Abbey is situated on the Essex border with Hertfordshire, along the eastern side of the River Lee and the Lee Valley just off junction 26 of the M25. It can also be reached via the A112 heading north from the North Circular Road and on the A121 either east from Waltham Cross or west from the Wake Arms roundabout in Epping Forest.

The nearest station is Waltham Cross.

Buses operated by EOS (66) and Regal Busway (250/240) travel between Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Debden.

Buses operated by Arriva (251) travel between Waltham Abbey and Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Flamstead End.

Waltham Cross bus station has connections to various other routes including into London via TfL.
