Colour Wave

About

Following on from their success in 2018, this summer sees the return of Colour Wave to the Crypt Gallery. Organised by Lynn Beck and Linda Wells, the collaboration of friends from Seaford bring an exciting exhibition of new work to this great venue.

With a diverse range of Art, Craft and Greetings Cards the participating artists are: -

Lynn Beck, whose acrylic paintings of local scenes are noted for their vibrant colours and quirky nature.
 

Linda Wells creates Hand Felted Textured Lanscapes, using Embroidery techniques to add detail.

Lisa Taylor works with textured plaster paintings and wood.

Dawn Shelley Wells paints with a unique twist and unusual angles

Palo Almond works principally in watercolour with her abstracted paintings.

Shirley Burt creates texture and depth in woodland scenery.

Nina Gatward creates alphabet paintings depicting a child’s name alongside watercolour landscapes

Sue Casebourne crafts sculpted animals from wool and paints landscapes, lino and woodcuts.

Jan Firbank likes to work with pastels and other mixed media for her portraiture and local vistas.

The Studio will display examples from each artist, whilst the Main Gallery and Undercroft will showcase their collections.
