Now firmly established as the highlight of the social calendar in the North East, Ladies Day is the perfect setting to enjoy a day out with your best friends and family. The most glamorous race day of the flat season combines an exciting day of fashion, fillies and of course a glass of fizz. Returning on Saturday 25 July 2020, Ladies' Day in Newcastle will be even more glamourous with some of the most iconic women in pop - The Pussycat Dolls - providing the ultimate post-race party.
Dressing to impress is highly recommended, as the Best Dressed Lady competition will once again be centre stage during the afternoon. Thousands of pounds worth of prizes are on offer to the Best Dressed Lady, runner-up and top 10 finalists.
Next we celebrate with women in sport. Ladies day features a Silk Series race, which is comprised of all female jockeys. The series has run for 4 years, and runs across 13 British racecourses, showcasing and celebrating female talent within horse racing whilst also supporting Cancer Research UK.
As well as great racing and the Best Dressed Lady competition, there will be live music and entertainment throughout the day.
Finally, once you’ve watched some of the races and enjoyed a glass of fizz or two in the British sunshine, let your hair down and bust your best dance moves to live performance from the fabulous Pussycat Dolls.
