A complete introduction to collagraph printmaking using a press!
In this workshop you'll explore a range of materials that you can use to create exciting textured printing plates. If you love collage, then you'll love Collagraph!
This printmaking process is essentially a form of printed collage, from the Greek 'colla' meaning glue and 'graph' meaning to draw. If you love texture, shape and colour this is a great workshop for you.
By the end of the weekend you'll have;
- an understanding of the tools, materials and papers
- an understanding of the inking and printing process
- created a series of collagraph plates
- created a range of collagraph prints
Workshop Info
This workshop is suitable for adults and those aged 16 years +. All abilities are welcome, beginners, improvers and those looking to try something new!
To protect your clothes please bring an apron or wear old clothing.
