Our Peak District rangers have been selling Christmas trees at Longshaw for nearly 50 years – come and join in this festive tradition.
A Christmas tree from Longshaw will not only decorate your home for the festive season, it will also help look after the landscape and wildlife of the Peak District all year round. All the money we raise through selling Christmas trees is put towards the vital conservation work we do, from erecting bird boxes in Padley Wood for declining bird species to restoring blanket bog in the High Peak to help tackle climate change.
Sustainable Christmas trees will be on sale at Longshaw from Saturday 26th November – Monday 19th December, from 9.30am – 4pm. Prices vary depending on tree size and type. Parking is free when you buy a tree, plus you'll get a voucher for a free hot drink in January.
• Longshaw Christmas trees are grown at on the Estate or brought in from other sustainably managed UK growers to meet demand.
• The trees we have available include Norway Spruce, Fraser Firs, Lodgepole Pine and Nordmann Firs.
• All our trees are premium grade non–drop in sizes from 2ft to 14 ft.
• The Norway Spruce are rooted so can be dug up and potted.
• Prices of the trees vary.
• Card payments preferred please.
Prices start from £40
