Westonbirt’s magical after-dark trail returns for 2025, promising a spectacular evening filled with brand-new lights, dazzling installations, and festive fun for the entire family.

Created by the award-winning team behind Christmas at Kew, this enchanting event is a must-see this holiday season.

Visitors are invited to wander through the illuminated arboretum, where twinkling lights transform the landscape into a glowing wonderland. New for 2025 are breathtaking installations including Laser Lights, Mycelium Network, Fireworks Trees, and Wicker Animals. Keep an eye out for Father Christmas—he’ll be making appearances along the trail!

Guests can enjoy festive fairground rides* and indulge in seasonal treats from a variety of food and drink stalls serving winter warmers.*

Important Information:

• Limited capacity with timed entry – advance booking is essential to secure preferred dates and time slots.

• Trail Entry Time Slots: Vary by date, typically every 15 minutes from 4:15pm to 8:30pm. Please arrive promptly for the selected slot.

* All infants and personal assistants require a ticket and must be booked alongside a paid ticket. A valid student ID must be shown on arrival.

** The family ticket discount is applied automatically when selecting two adult and two child tickets.

Parking:

Pre-booking is required for all visitors arriving by car. Standard or Blue Badge parking is £8 per space when booked in advance. Members of Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and Forestry England receive one free parking space if booked at least a day in advance.

To redeem this offer, members must select a “car parking (member)” ticket and enter their membership number when prompted. Blue Badge spaces can be reserved by contacting customerrelations@forestryengland.uk and showing valid membership on arrival.

Relaxed Sessions:

Designed for adults and young people with additional needs who prefer a quieter experience, Relaxed Sessions will be held at 4:00pm on the following dates:
