Broadway's longest running American musical comes to Chesterfield!
Set in the 1920's and based on real murders and trials, we follow Roxie who murders her lover and is arrested. In jail she meets double-murderess Velma. When both acquire the same lawyer, Billy Flynn, tensions come to a head as they both vie for the spotlight.
Featuring such musical theatre song staples as; 'All That Jazz', 'Mister Cellophane', and 'The Cell Block Tango'.

There is limited on street parking
From North/South Leave M1 motorway at junction 29 and take A617 towards Chesterfield (approx. 4 miles). At roundabout (traffic light controlled) select left lane and take first exit (A61 Derby Road). At traffic lights (McDonalds) go straight on and at next traffic lights (SS Augustine Church) select left lane and go straight on. At next traffic lights, turn left (Storforth Lane). At traffic lights (bridge), go straight on and Playhouse is approx. 300 yards on left.
From East Follow A617 to junction with M1 motorway, then follow route from North/South
From West Follow A619 to Chesterfield and at traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select middle lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and, at traffic lights, go straight on. Select right hand lane and, at roundabout, take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select right lane and take 3rd exit (A61 Derby Road), then follow road from North/South.
