About

The Chesterfield Children’s Festival returns to Queen’s Park this July, bringing live music, theatre, dance, storytelling and art workshops to the town for families to enjoy.

The free arts and culture festival has several family-friendly acts and activities taking place over the weekend, including an immersive movie experience, Virtual Reality swings, an interactive catwalk and family life drawing! Who’s ready to have some fun?

Road Directions

From North/South Leave M1 at junction 29 and take A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At roundabout (traffic light controlled), select left lane and take 3rd exit. At next roundabout select left lane and take 1st exit (continuous lane). At traffic lights select middle lane and go straight on. At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) stay in left lane and take 1st exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.

From East Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction. Take 3rd exit (A617) to Chesterfield then follow route from North/South.

From West Follow A619 into Chesterfield. At roundabout (Morrison's) take 2nd exit (A619). At traffic light controlled roundabout (Matalan) select right hand lane and take 4th exit (Boythorpe Road). Park is on left.
